UNIGEM: 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM - GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE (UNIVERSITY OF BANJA LUKA)


The Advisory Board for Gender Equality at the University of Banja Luka, within the UNIGEM project (University and Gender Mainstreaming), organized the second workshop in a row aimed at promoting the celebration of "16 days of activism against violence against women".

The workshop "Gender-Based Violence" was held on November 23, 2021, in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka.

The present students and teachers had the opportunity to get acquainted and discuss different definitions of the concept of gender equality, differences between gender and gender, patterns of reproduction of gender inequalities. The moderator of the workshop was prof. Dr. Ivana Zečević, full professor in the Study Program of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and member of the Advisory Board for Gender Equality at the University of Banja Luka. The introductory speech before the workshop was given by the Vice Rector for Human and Material Resources, prof. Dr. Dalibor Kesić.
